Missions

At Trinity we believe in the call to love and serve our neighbors. We fulfill this call through service to our brothers and sisters who are in need. We strive to broaden one another’s perspective of Christian social responsibility and the call to action. We focus on the needs of people in the Lancaster area and around the world. As a congregation we believe it is God’s work, our hands. Our missions are designed around “accompaniment” – the concept of walking beside another in need and seeing Christ in that moment.
We offer family mission experiences close to home and abroad. These include:
Inner-City Baltimore Trips to Amazing Grace Lutheran Church
Trip dates: one-day visits in the fall and spring of each year

Trinity also takes teams to Ouaniminthe, Haiti every third year to teach a summer school program in this third-world country. Our next trip will be in the summer of 2013. For more information on Haiti missions, please contact Michelle Shirk.
